Designer Olivia Martinez fell in love with the colors and the structured garments of the 1890s to create the next collection. Bold color combinations, plaids, and tailored silhouettes that were new to women’s garments of the 1890s were re-invented into intricate modern ensembles. ‘90s Meets 90s.'
Textural Verticies
"Design is a form of expression, confidence, and the impact of the world around you the way you receive it."
The experimental line "Textural Verticies" uses geometric shapes and a feminine color palette of pinks, purples and whites to create wearable art. Using the human body as her canvas, movement is also an important part of the design concept. Her finished pieces, even when static, give and expression of motion.
