ABOUT THE DESIGNER

OLIVIA.jpg
Olivia Grace Martinez

From a northern Chicago suburb, Olivia uses the world around her and various timelines for design inspiration. Observing the locals’ street style as well as natural and man-made scenery in her world, Olivia designs her collections of garments to reflect a particular design element or characteristic of architectural and natural structures in time. Textured fabrics are accented by pops of color to help express shape and form.

Olivia hopes to take her knowledge and her unusual design inspirations into the fashion industry and ultimately wow passionate fashion enthusiasts with new ideas of style. Her advice to anyone interested in fashion as a career is to “Be ambitious, dedicated, and willing to make the time commitment for the rest of your life. Love your work and always find the fun in what you do. Persevere and explore your future.”
